THE BRONX - Marconi's on East Gun Hill Road has seen three owners over the years but the recipes have remained the same, newest owner Afan Krasniqui says.
The Bronx pizzeria has been around for about 50 years and so have the ovens inside.
"This oven has been here for about 45, 50 years," Krasniqui says. They stay busy and there is always a pizza coming out of the oven.
One woman waiting in line says she has been coming to Marconi's for 40-years.
"I come back for the food. It's very good," she says.
Krasniqui says chicken broccoli is among the most popular pizzas but they also make calzones and rolls.
